Just to liven up your day, or night, here is some of the things the
staff of City Plastics get up to when we are not hard at work.
A staff day out at the races

Dave the driver and Dave the fisherman

Rachel, Mitchell and Dave, with more fish
and one that Andrew borrowed

What sort of fish are they you ask?
Snapper
Average size is: 1kg - 10kg. can reach 20kg.Habitat: Snapper frequent
the southern half of Australian coastal waters from Queensland around to
northern West Australia. They are found around offshore and inshore
reefs, estuaries, harbours, bays, off rocks, rock walls and beaches.
Snapper are a bottom dweller and tend to hold and feed over very rough
reef and in deep holes. The fish tend to run hard and deep when hooked
heading for the cover of the reef. In deep water the fish can provide a
tough fight.
King
George Whiting
Size: 400g - 2kg.
Habitat: King George Whiting are common in coastal waters of southern
Australia from southern N.S.W. to southern W.A. including north-east Tas.
They school in large numbers native to shallow coastal and estuarine
waters with grassy flats with sand and mud bottoms. The juvenile fish
tend to congregate in estuaries, inlets, bays, beaches and other
sheltered coastal waters in close proximity to seagrass beds. While the
adults prefer the deeper water along channels, gutters and offshore with
a less dependence on seagrass habitats. The larger fish are also found
individually in deeper offshore areas near reefs. A hard battler
providing good sport.
